Life of the Building Guarantee.
Claridge LCS Marker Board and Vitracite Chalk Board Writing Surface is Guaranteed for the Life of the Building.
Under normal usage and maintenance, and when installed in accordance with Claridge instructions and recommendations, Claridge LCS porcelain enamel steel marker boards and Vitracite porcelain enamel steel chalk boards are guaranteed for the life of the building. Guarantee covers replacement of defective boards but does not include cost of removal or reinstallation.
Freight Policy
In rare cases, a product may suffer damage during shipment:
1. Upon receipt of shipment, you are responsible for inspecting products for damage before signing off on delivery.
2. If there is damage, you may either accept or refuse the shipment and clearly write on the bill of lading all damaged areas.
3. Your notes become part of the freight claim, so be specific.
4. Often, a box may look damaged but the product is fine inside, so please take the time to open the box to be sure.
5. Whiteboard A to Z will replace any damaged product in your order in which a valid freight claim was verified at no additional cost to the customer.
6. The Customer is responsible for all accessorial charges, which consist of, but are not limited to, charges such as inside delivery, residential charges, redelivery charges, address corrections, call before delivery, and use of other size vehicles. Please be advised that all of our products over 3' x 4' in carton size, must ship via truck, LTL or common carrier. The driver by law is only required to bring the product to the back of the truck or tailgate. They are not responsible to bring the product in the building. You will need to provide assistance in getting it off the truck unless other arrangements are made in advance. This is standard throughout the shipping industry. Please contact Customer Service with any questions. Whiteboard-AtoZ will not be responsible for special routing or delivery instructions not noted at the time of order.
Return Policy
10-Day Postmarked Return: Standard items may be returned for a full price refund minus freight cost plus 25% restocking fee.
Products that are custom-made to customer’s specifications cannot be returned, ie: special-order sizes, finishes, colors, etc.
Freight damaged shipments must be handled via freight claim (see Freight Policy above).
Cancellation Policy
Once an order is placed, the customer has 48 business hours to cancel the order on stock units. This doesn't apply to rush orders. Once the cancellation deadline has passed, and the order is processed, the order can only be canceled if the factory has not shipped your order on stock items. In the case of custom-built products, we cannot cancel the order. Please call with any questions. 209-656-1700. Note: In the case of orders that have already been processed, a cancellation fee of 5% of the subtotal may apply to the order.
